Project Details: Supports Valar Atomics' licensing department in advancing their upcoming DoD/DoE, fuel facility, and commercial nuclear projects. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in one or more of these areas.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain document control systems for all licensing department documentation across DoD/DoE, fuel facility, and/or commercial nuclear programs as assigned.
Process, track, and distribute licensing documents, regulatory submittals, and correspondence in accordance with document control procedures.
Ensure licensing documents are properly reviewed, approved, revised, and archived per applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with licensing engineers, project managers, and QA staff on document review and approval workflows.
Support preparation and formatting of regulatory submittals and licensing packages.
Maintain document registers, revision logs, and regulatory correspondence tracking systems.
Identify and resolve document control discrepancies or non-conformances.
Provide document control training and guidance to licensing department staff as needed.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and hands-on document control experience in a regulated industry will be considered.
Minimum 3–5 years of document control experience in a nuclear, DOE, or highly regulated industry environment.
Familiarity with nuclear quality assurance requirements (e.g., DOE Order 414.1 or equivalent).
Proficiency with document management systems and electronic records management tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
