Sr Structural/Pipe Engineer (ASME)


Project: Structural/Piping analysis for life extension work


Duration: Initially One Year


ST Pay Rate: Not Defined / Need Candidates Requested Rate


Per Diem: $249 day/7 days


Mob / Demob: $750 each way


Hours: Full Time


Work Location: Diablo Canyon – Avila Beach, CA 93424



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree, commercial nuclear plant experience required.

  • Piping/AMSE experience a must

  • In addition to engineering degree, considerable experience in large industrial facilities performing load analysis related to large structures, heavy lifts, large pipe supports. This involves calculation reviews, software modeling, and adherence to industry standards like ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III.

  • Prior work on a wide range of Large Piping Nuclear Projects.


Responsibilities will include:


Plan and conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.


Execute the construction-administration phase of projects, including bid assistance, submittal review, site meetings, observations of completed work, etc.



Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities.  Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
