Structural Designer

Work Location:  Oak Ridge, TN (possibility of hybrid / remote schedule after established and up to speed - not guaranteed and not before a minimum of 3 months onsite)

Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate

Hours: 40 hour work week

Responsibilities:

• Develop steel framing plans, sections and details, concrete foundation plans, concrete foundation details for buildings, stairs, platforms and miscellaneous steel structures.

• Check designs produced by other Designers for dimensional accuracy, feasibility of fabrication/construction, completeness and general presentation.

• File completed drawings per established procedures.

• Select equipment, fittings and other catalog items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering

• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Minimum 4 years' experience in building design and/or heavy industry.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• AutoCAD and Revit software experience is required

• US Citizenship is required
