Palisades Nuclear Power Plant re-start, maintenance, and repairs 

Rate: $60-$70/hr ST

Work Location: Covert, Michigan (Hybrid)Covert, Michigan - Ideally candidates would be onsite but they are willing to accommodate a hybrid to remote schedule (onsite 2-3 days per week while training and then transition to remote) which may require trips to site, as needed.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-6 months

Hours: Full time / 40+ hours 

PD: $130.00 (7 days)

Mob / Demob: Per Site Policy (attached)

Responsibilities:· Supports the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.· Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to optimize inventory management, reduce carrying costs, and support finding components.· Support the coordinate with receiving and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of purchased items and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.· Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, including the implementation of best practices, cost-saving initiatives, and sustainable sourcing strategies. 

• Education/Experience Requirements     

• · 5 years experience in nuclear procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

  
  

  · Analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess supplier capabilities, and make strategic purchasing decisions.

  
  

  · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

  
  

  · Experience in using procurement systems to manage purchasing processes and track inventory levels.
