Kahua Automation Specialist

Work Location:  Aiken, SC (A hybrid/remote schedule may be available)

Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate

Duration:  Initially 1 year

Hours: 40 hours per week, with options for up to 10 hours extra for emergent projects/needs.

Position Details: We are seeking a Project Engineer II to support our client at their Aiken, SC office


Job Description:


This role focuses on analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining the Kahua enterprise EPC workflow system.The position requires proficiency in programming languages and enterprise application development, along with maintaining documentation and staying current with industry trends. The specialist also functions as a customer business analyst and project manager, serving as the primary driver of client relationships.


Key Requirements:

  • Maintain planning, monitoring, and reporting processes for project coordination and completion

  • Develop and code enterprise-level software applications with relevant programming languages and frameworks

  • Lead project status meetings and coordinate software/hardware installation, deployment, and upgrades

  • Document requirements, obtain customer approvals, and maintain compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards

  • Analyze complex processes, identify improvements, and recommend cost-effective solutions

  • Experience in the development and deployment of complex workflows for large projects preferred.

    • Experience with building workflow automation solutions with Kahua, Power Automate, Aconex or similar platforms.


Education / Experience Requirements:


Candidates should possess an accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field with five years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience totaling nine years if non-degreed.


Preferred qualifications include experience developing and deploying complex workflows for large projects, effective communication skills with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors, job-related technical knowledge, ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines, and strong attention to detail with time-conscious work habits.


Physical Requirements:


The candidate will be primarily working in an indoor office environment, either onsite or remotely. Various levels of environmental conditions including project worksites and client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
