Work Location: CA or UT (Hybrid - 2 weeks onsite / 2 weeks remote)

Hours: 40 +
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement licensing strategies for DoE, DoD, and commercial nuclear programs.
Serve as primary point of contact with DoE, DoD, and other federal regulatory bodies. Oversee preparation and submission of license applications, amendments, and regulatory correspondence.
Establish and maintain licensing policies, procedures, and program documentation. Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, safety, and operations departments.
Manage and mentor licensing staff including engineers, analysts, and specialists.
Provide executive-level reporting on licensing status, risks, and milestones.
Ensure organizational compliance with applicable federal regulations and DoE Orders.
Requirements:
Minimum 15+ years of nuclear licensing experience with demonstrated leadership at a senior or director level.
Deep knowledge of DoE Orders, federal nuclear regulations, and advanced reactor licensing frameworks.
Experience interfacing directly with DoE or DoD on licensing and regulatory matters. Strong program management and team leadership skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
