High Voltage Substation Construction Site Manager– Oklaunion, TX

(with subsequent projects planned in Texas and Ohio and Oklahoma and Indiana)

We are seeking experienced Electrical Substation Construction Site Managers with a proven background in high-voltage substation projects. This role is not general construction—the hiring manager is only interested in candidates with direct high-voltage substation site management experience.

Department: Substation Projects

Hours: 5x10’s (50 - 60 hrs / week)

Start: 02/03/2026

End: 3 months to start, with opportunity to expand.

Hourly rate: Open / Need Candidate’s Requested Rate

PD: $178.00

Mob / Demob: $500 each

Key tasks include:

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs

• Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public

• Coordinating and supervising construction workers

• Selecting tools and materials

• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety

• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings

• Maintaining quality control procedures

• Finding ways to prevent problems from happening and to solve any that crop up

• Assessing and minimizing risk

• Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork

• Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licenses.

Requirement:

• Proven work experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Substation Site Manager

• Hands-on expertise in High Voltage (HV) systems

• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning

• Experience managing subcontractors, site crews, and safety compliance
