Fabrication / Program Manager

Project: Dominion CVOW OSS Offshore Wind

Work Location: Aalborg, Denmark

Duration: Initially One Year w/ annual extensions expected

Responsibilities include:

Monitor the manufacturing of components for OSS including topsides and jackets, as well as some of the corresponding subcomponents.

• Support the Package Manager (OSS) in the management of scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and project risks associated with the manufacturing phase.

• Act as the Owner Representative onsite and visit multiple manufacturing facilities located in Europe (including but not limited to facilities located in Denmark and Spain).

• Support all phases of the project manufacturing process including coordination between packages and the corresponding interfaces.

• Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), inspection reports and completion certifications.

• Review and monitor progress of manufacturing and provide accurate reporting to the Package Manager and leadership.

• Participation in progress and technical alignment meetings.

• Regular visits to the manufacturing yard(s).

• As needed, serve as the Owner’s Representative during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT),

• First Article Inspections (FAI) and other similar activities in the manufacturing process.

• Lead-by-example with safety, compliance, and quality-oriented attitude.

• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Educational Requirements:

Degree preferred, 10+ year of experience.

Must have fabrication oversight experience.

Experience at CS wind, SEMCO or Bladt industries is a plus

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities.  Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
