Now Hiring: Lead Digital I&C and Nuclear Cyber Security Specialist

Location: 90% Remote / Nuclear Plant Sites | Experience: Advanced/Lead | Industry: Nuclear Power Generation

What We’re Looking For:

We need a team member who brings both technical depth and leadership experience across nuclear plant operations, digital system security, and regulatory compliance. If you’ve led I&C teams, managed cyber assessments, and worked closely with the NRC and industry groups like PWROG — we want to hear from you.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• 15+ years of I&C/Digital experience in commercial nuclear power, including extensive work on systems such as reactor protection, plant security computers, rod control, Emerson Ovation, and monitoring systems.

• Cyber Security Expertise with a deep knowledge in RG 1.97, NEI 08-09, NEI 13-10. Experience completing cyber security assessments, CDA evaluations, supply chain, impact analysis, and configuration control.  

• Leadership Experience, including supervisory roles managing I&C teams, budgets, and corrective action programs, as well as mentoring junior engineers and supporting site-wide reliability efforts.

• Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge, including access to Safeguards information, digital upgrade modifications and design/engineering changes, Westinghouse/Emerson/GE systems, and direct involvement in policy and procedure development.

• Desirable Qualifications – Experience as a Site/Navy Reactor Operator is highly valued, Design Engineering experience, Hands on Qual, Cyber CDA Assessment Qual, CISSP, CCNA, CASP+/SecurityX, PE. 

This Role Involves:

• Leading, performing, and supporting digital I&C/computer system implementation, upgrades, and cyber security assessments.

• Expertise/input on the processes regarding procurement, supply chain, critical digital asset scoping, and critical system connectivity and function.

• Interfacing with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and cyber security/IT.
