Licensing Project Manager

Work Location:  CA or UT (Hybrid - 2 weeks onsite / 2 weeks remote)

Duration:  Long Term - Hire options are flexible:

Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate

Hours: 40+

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage licensing project activities from initiation through completion across DoD/DoE, fuel facility, and/or commercial nuclear programs as assigned.     

• Develop and maintain licensing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.   

• Coordinate licensing activities across internal teams including engineering, safety, QA, and operations.    

• Track deliverables, milestones, and regulatory commitments and report status to the Licensing Manager.    

• Identify and mitigate project risks related to licensing timelines and regulatory approvals.    

• Facilitate communication between licensing staff, project teams, and regulatory authorities.    

• Manage licensing project documentation and ensure proper configuration control.    

• Support development of licensing strategies and regulatory engagement plans for assigned projects.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Engineering Management, or related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and hands-on nuclear project management experience will be considered.    

• Minimum 8–12 years of project management experience in a nuclear licensing environment.   

• PMP certification preferred.   

• Experience managing DOE, DoD, and/or commercial nuclear licensing projects. 

• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
