Work Location: Mineral, VA
Start: April / May 2026
Duration: Initially One Year
ST Pay Rate: $75/hr ST
Per Diem: $100 / 7 days
Hours: Flexible– Ex: 4x10s or 8x5s, etc.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Operational knowledge to create, maintain or revise work standards and procedures which support nuclear plant operations, programs, and work practices.
Evaluates the feasibility of requested or proposed changes, and analyzes documents as to their applicability to nuclear operations.
Demonstrated nuclear operations knowledge, I&C or OPS background required.
Previous work experience preparing and writing descriptive copy using publishing tools and writer guidelines, and verifying documentation, both orally and visually.
Technical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical literature and documents.
5-10 years prior experience required
Experience within the last 2 years writing procedures in emergency preparedness or operations for nuclear power plants
Must have hands on experience in the last 6-12 months of having made changes to procedures themselves in formatting software
PPA certified preferred
Experienced and proficient in the use of FrameMaker and Documentum/DocMan/DocEM software is preferred
Experienced and proficient in the Adobe, including performing mark-ups, distilling, and use of AdobeSign for routing signatures.
