Supporting Licensing Department
Work Location: CA or UT (Hybrid - 2 weeks onsite / 2 weeks remote)

Hours: 40 +
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update PRA models in support of nuclear licensing and safety basis documentation across DoD/DoE, fuel facility, and/or commercial nuclear programs as assigned.
Perform risk-informed analyses to support design decisions, license amendments, and regulatory submittals.
Conduct fault tree, event tree, and failure mode analyses.
Support risk-informed decision making processes across engineering and licensing functions.
Prepare PRA-related technical documentation and regulatory submittals.
Coordinate with safety analysis and licensing teams to integrate PRA results into licensing basis documentation.
Stay current with DOE, DoD, and commercial nuclear PRA standards and methodology developments.
Support independent peer reviews of PRA models as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and hands-on PRA experience will be considered.
Minimum 5–8 years of PRA experience in a nuclear environment.
Proficiency with industry-standard PRA software (e.g., SAPHIRE, CAFTA, or equivalent).
Experience with DOE, DoD, and/or commercial nuclear PRA standards and applications.
Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
