Hours: 40 +
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary licensing lead for assigned nuclear projects across DoD/DoE, fuel facility, and/or commercial nuclear programs.
Develop and execute project-specific licensing plans and schedules.
Prepare and coordinate regulatory submittals, license applications, and supporting technical documentation.
Interface with DOE, DoD, and/or commercial nuclear regulatory authorities as required by the assigned project.
Coordinate with project engineering, safety, and QA teams to ensure licensing requirements are integrated into project execution.
Track licensing action items, commitments, and regulatory correspondence.
Identify and manage licensing risks and communicate status to the Licensing Manager.
Support licensing basis development and documentation as applicable to the project.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and hands-on nuclear licensing experience will be considered.
Minimum 8–12 years of nuclear licensing experience, with experience in a project lead or senior role.
Experience with DOE, DoD, and/or commercial nuclear licensing processes.
Strong technical writing and regulatory communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple licensing workstreams simultaneously.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
