Project Manager - Georgia

Project / Work Scope: BCP is looking for a Project Manager to support the site projects team with various upcoming online and outage site projects. Ideal candidate will have project oversight, contractor management experience, and site projects experience. The Project Manager will participate in Scope, Budget and Design activities before handing off Implementation to the Project Lead.

Estimated Start Date: September / October 2024

Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: Initially One Year (annual extensions anticipated)

Hours: 40-50 hours/week; might vary slightly during outage.

Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate

Per Diem: $93.94 / day ($657.60 per week)

Mob / Demob: $500.00 each ($1,000 total 

Required Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   

• ·         A minimum of 5 years in Nuclear Power is required.

• ·         Prior SNC and BWR experience is highly preferred.

• ·         PMP certification preferred.

• ·         10+ years of project management experience is highly preferred.

• ·         Required strong background in maintenance and site projects, prior outage experience, prior contractor, management experience,

• prior project oversight experience is required

Education Requirements:

Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable, but must have a HS diploma.

Physical Requirements:  Primarily will be in an office location, but might require occasional plant walk downs as needed, necessitating the climbing of ladders and walking and working on uneven surfaces.

Position requires UN-escorted access to the protected area of a nuclear plant.
