Work Location: Arkansas Nuclear One – Russellville, AR
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Hours: Full Time (40 hr / wk)
Duration: Long Term (w/option to go direct after 6 months, if desired)
Per diem: $178.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: $500 each way ($1,000 total)
Position Details: The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of construction, engineering, and fabrication projects at the ANO site.
Required Duties:
Client Relationship Management – Serve as primary client point of contact, lead client meetings and progress reviews, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally to drive client satisfaction and repeat business.
Project Planning & Controls – Develop and maintain project execution plans, master schedules, and budgets; establish cost controls and earned value tracking; monitor performance and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination – Coordinate engineering, fabrication, procurement, construction, safety, and quality teams; align internal resources, fabrication shops, and subcontractors; facilitate communication and resolve execution conflicts.
Scope & Change Management – Manage project scope per contract requirements, lead change order pricing and negotiations, track costs and forecasts, ensure accurate billing and financial documentation.
Engineering & Fabrication Oversight – Oversee engineering and fabrication deliverables for alignment, constructability, and manufacturability; coordinate production schedules; ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Construction, Quality & Safety Management – Ensure construction and fabrication activities meet technical, quality, and safety standards; promote safety culture and regulatory compliance; support constructability reviews and field issue resolution.
Risk Management & Reporting – Provide timely project status, cost, and schedule reports to clients and leadership; identify and manage risks with mitigation strategies; maintain documentation and communication channels.
Project Closeout & Continuous Improvement – Lead project closeout activities, documentation turnover, and lessons learned sessions; drive process improvements and knowledge transfer across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of progressive project management experience in construction, engineering, and/or fabrication
Proven track record managing multi-discipline projects with budgets of $5M+
Experience coordinating engineering, fabrication, and construction activities
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and complex stakeholder environments
EPC or nuclear construction experience strongly preferred
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
Additional certifications (CCM, PSP, or industry-specific credentials) a plus
Technical Competencies:
Strong knowledge of engineering, fabrication, and construction processes
Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar)
Experience with cost control, earned value management, and financial reporting
Understanding of fabrication shop operations and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of contract administration and change management

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
