Work Location: Rigging project in Richland, WA.
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Hours: Full Time 40 (4 days / 10 hr day)
Duration: Long Term (w/option to go direct after 6 months, if desired)
Per diem: $216.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: $500 each way ($1,000 total)
Position Details: We are seeking a Mechanical/Civil Engineer to fill the position of Senior Engineer as they support nuclear operations in Richland, WA.
Required Duties:
Civil or Mechanical engineering graduate and 12-15 years of related experience.
P.E. License.
Solid proficiency in Risa 3-D, or other FEA structural engineering software.
Working knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD, AISC Manual, FEA software, &
structural/mechanical detailing skills.
Knowledge of steel design/detailing & fabrication practices.
Knowledge of the nuclear power industry, associated terminology & paperwork is a plus.
Knowledge of the crane & rigging field is a plus.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Individual must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic.
Desire to work in a small business environment.
Desire to work in a “Hands-On” environment.
Valid driver’s license & a good driving record.
Must have US work authorization.
Credit check, criminal background check & drug testing required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required
Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
