Duration: Initially 24 months to start w/ annual extensions expected

Schedule: 4x10's to start

PD: $157.00

Mob/Demob: $500.00 each

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs, walkdowns required

Job Summary:

The Senior Estimator is responsible for managing one or more estimates for large scale nuclear projects including Maintenance and Construction and component replacement

Responsibilities include:

• Develop, assess, and maintain quality-controlled project estimates for review by the Project Manager(s), Director(s), and Executive(s), as well as oversee and mentor junior level estimators

• Completion of conceptual estimates utilizing minimal available information

• Preparation of Basis of Estimates

• Takeoffs

• Contact with Subcontractors for real time pricing

• Lead estimating activities for Schematic and Design Development Estimates

• Preparation of Bid Packages including Scope Definition

• Procurement of Subcontracts and Materials

• Lead Descope Discussions with Qualified Bidders

Required Education and Certifications / Licenses:

• N/A, 15+ years commercial nuke experience
